Utilizing further research and understanding deeply the exact causes of mental illness. (MQ: Transforming Mental Health) Introduction These days, depression is fairly a common illness worldwide. Globally, with an estimated 3.8 percent of the population impacted, 5.0 percent of adults and 5.7 percent of persons over 60 years old are affected (WHO, 2021). Depression may be a mental illness yet these also affect physical bodily symptoms. They may have poor focus, low self-esteem, interrupted sleep, constant exhaustion, and a loss of pleasure and interest in activities for virtually a whole day, weeks, months, or even years during depressive episodes. Although we may know a lot about sadness, many people are unaware of the actual causes of depression. Despite the fact that 1 in 4 of us will be affected by these illnesses.
